I've been thinking a lot about environment and how it shapes a person. The kind of people you surround yourself. The place you choose to live your life in. The everyday activities you participate in. How much do these things affect your happiness, creativity, and health? How do you know when you're in the wrong place, with the wrong people and doing the wrong things? These questions swim in my thoughts every now and then—especially on those days that I don't want to get out of bed.
So, what are the things that make me jump out of bed? What gets me excited, what makes me feel at ease, what makes me feel motivated? What should I surround myself with more?

Nature. Growing Heart Farm is a gem. They have events throughout the summer and you can even stay on the farm! I went this past Saturday - yoga, food, fun.
Good people. I don't know about you guys, but I want to surround myself with people that are motivated and fierce. This Beyonce jam does it for me every time.
Art. I've been wanting to take classes here for so long. I've finally signed myself up! As I've gotten older, I've started to realize I'd rather be doing something interesting (like weaving a tapestry) than sitting in a loud bar.
